Aqua is the principal solvent in most emulsions, serums and ready-to-use masks, allowing water-soluble ingredients to be distributed evenly through the formula. Its role is simple but indispensable: it provides the medium in which much of the formulation can function.

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning that it helps hold water in the outer layers of the skin and reduces the dry, tight feeling that can follow cleansing. It is one of the most established moisturizing ingredients in cosmetics and is valued precisely because it performs this basic task so reliably.

Panthenol helps improve moisture retention and supports a softer, smoother skin surface. It is used in our products intended to soothe and condition the skin because it combines effective hydration with excellent tolerance.

Codium Tomentosum Extract is more than a source of moisture. Its interest lies in the way it works with processes already native to the skin, supporting the formation of skin lipids as well as the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid—substances upon which volume, suppleness and firmness quietly depend. In the Deep ALGAE Moisturizer, its purpose is therefore not to impose an artificial effect upon the skin, but to encourage the skin’s own architecture to recover some of the fullness, density and resilience that time gradually diminishes.

Niacinamide is one of the skin’s useful metabolic materials: it helps support the production of ceramides and other barrier lipids, thereby reducing transepidermal water loss, and it can also interfere with the transfer of pigment-containing melanosomes into surrounding skin cells. In practical terms, this means skin that retains moisture more effectively, feels less vulnerable to dryness and irritation, and can gradually appear smoother, calmer and more even in tone.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable, water-soluble derivative of vitamin C used for antioxidant protection and support of a brighter, more even-looking complexion.

Pentylene Glycol acts as a humectant and solvent, helping the formula retain moisture while improving texture and ingredient distribution. It can also support the preservation system, allowing several useful functions to be performed by a single unobtrusive ingredient.

Xanthan Gum is a naturally derived thickener that gives a water-based formula body and prevents ingredients from separating too easily. It is frequently used in organic foods, but in our case much of the pleasant consistency of the moisturizer depends on its structural work.

Benzyl Alcohol is produced naturally by different plants. We use it principally as part of the preservation system, helping protect the water-containing cosmetic from microbial contamination after opening. This is one of the ingredients we use for the product to remain safe and stable during normal use.

Dehydroacetic Acid is an organic compound used in our products to inhibit the growth of microorganisms.

Citric Acid is an organic substance we use in small amounts to finely balance the pH of the formulation.

CI 75810 - Green Colourant is used to enhance the sensory character of the serum by giving it its characteristic green appearance.
