The Caranto POWER +G Mask / ready to use

For dry, mature or sensitive skin, once or twice a
week, glycerin keeps the mask from drying out, making it gentler.
For normal to oily skin, daily. Vegetable glycerin preserves naturally and keeps your skin deeply moisturised. No preservatives. Apply to face, neck and décolleté, avoiding sensitive areas. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse off with warm water.
Only for external use.
Fresh for 12 months after opening.

Bentonite belongs to the geological memory of the lagoon: volcanic material carried from the Alpine world and laid down in the ancient Caranto beneath Venice. In Lalaguna’s mask, its value is equally elemental: the clay swells, binds excess oil and surface impurities, and is then rinsed away, leaving the skin cleaner, calmer and more refined.

Illite belongs to the mineral language of the lagoon and helps give the Caranto mask its balanced character. It absorbs excess oil and surface impurities, while tempering the stronger action of bentonite to leave the skin clean without feeling stripped.

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning that it helps hold water in the outer layers of the skin and reduces the dry, tight feeling that can follow cleansing. It is one of the most established moisturizing ingredients in cosmetics and is valued precisely because it performs this basic task so reliably.

Kaolin is the gentler yellow clay in Lalaguna’s interpretation of the Caranto, the ancient mineral layer beneath the Venetian lagoon where Alpine sediment and Adriatic material meet. It absorbs excess surface oil while softening the stronger action of bentonite, leaving the skin cleansed without the severity of a more aggressive clay mask.

Aqua is the principal solvent in most emulsions, serums and ready-to-use masks, allowing water-soluble ingredients to be distributed evenly through the formula. Its role is simple but indispensable: it provides the medium in which much of the formulation can function.

Pinus Sylvestris Oil brings a cooler Mediterranean note: resin, dry wood and the shade of coastal pine forests after the heat of the day. In the Caranto mask, it gives the mineral clays a cleaner, more aromatic character, adding freshness without competing with the mask’s essential work.

Citrus Limonum Oil brings the unmistakable brightness of the Mediterranean to the mineral depth of the Caranto mask. Its fresh citrus note lifts the earthy clays, giving the ritual a cleaner, sunnier character without pretending that fragrance is the source of the mask’s cleansing power.
